Donate an Item

Do you have an item you would like to donate to our collection?  Treasured heirlooms that find a home at the Cambridge Historical Society will be preserved for generations.  Our collections items are used for research, genealogy, and in displays, exhibits and educational programs so that they may be studied and appreciated for a long time to come.
If you have an item you are considering donating, please contact our Collections Committee at info@CambridgeHistoricalSociety.org

All donated items must be accompanied by a completed Deed of Gift form.   Multiple items may be listed on a single form
Click here to download and print a Deed of Gift form.
Why a Deed of Gift form?  This gives us ownership rights to the item(s).  Items left with us without this form are considered loaned items and that can make things difficult.  We would not legally own the item for 10 years and only after we take specific actions.
